Community Care Services

Section 17 of the Children’s Act makes a provision of services for children in need, their families and carers.  This covers circumstances when a family is in a situation where they need assistance from Children’s Services.  An example of this is when a family faces a short gap where no funds are available or when there is a family member/friend or carer looking after a child and there is no finances in place for the child.

Adults with disabilities

Any person over the age of 18 and who has a disability is eligible for an assessment.  This could lead to aids and adaptations being provided.  We can advise you through the process of accessing the appropriate services, aids, and grants.

Safe discharge from hospital

We can support you to make sure that you are discharged from hospital safely.  This could be through ensuring that services are put in place while you recuperate such as health assessments, and care plans.

Care Home Fees

If you are about to move into a nursing or residential home, if you want to know what your rights are around selling your home, paying for care, as well as the care you are entitled to, our advisors can support you through this.

Do you care for someone on a regular basis?  You may be entitled to a carer’s assessment.  This could help you in your role and make sure that you are supported in your role as a career.
