Welfare Benefits Trainee/ Adviser

Citizens Advice Bury & Bolton is a busy, dynamic and client focused service, with a track record of delivering high quality advice. Clients are engaged via a range of advice channels and access points.

The post holder will be required to work across the Bury and Bolton districts, ensuring a dynamic and client focused welfare benefits advice service is provided.

We are seeking the ideal candidate to join our experienced Welfare Benefits team, providing a reliable and effective advice service, across all advice channels and activity centres, utilised by Citizens Advice Bury and Bolton.

  • Are you an experienced welfare benefits adviser?
  • Perhaps you have worked in a different area of law and would like to progress into welfare benefits advice? 
  • Or simply, do you have transferable skills from an unrelated area and would like to develop as a welfare benefits adviser?

Experienced starting at £19,819 (dependent upon experience) 

Trainee: £17,173 - £19,446

Hours 35 hours per week
Location Working across Bury and Bolton, and designated outreaches as required
